Our fees for filing a trademark are $800.00 for one category.* Each additional category is $300.00. This is a flat rate that includes both the legal fee ($500.00) and USPTO fees ($300.00) for the trademark filing for one category. There is an additional hourly fee for trademark oppositions. A trademark opposition occurs when someone seeks to prevent you from filing your trademark. Most trademark filings are approved without an opposition proceeding.
The USPTO requires two filings for a logo and a company name. Therefore, the charge for both would be $1,600.00.
We are only able to trademark for you in the United States. The process in the United States takes approximately 6 months or longer depending on whether there are any issues with your trademark filing such as an opposition.
